This cultivar features a THC content of 18.7%. Aromatically, you’re met with citrus, fruit and floral top notes, and underlying earth, musk, and blue cheese aromas. Apart from imparting fragrance, the presence of the linalool terpene, found in various flowers and spice plants, also displays antimicrobial properties. Although these dense, highly resinous flowers appear to be near white or “champagne” in colouration, due to the abundant trichome frost, they are in fact predominantly dark green and purple, adorned with a proliferation of orange pistils.
Not to be confused with the other Wedding Pie (Triangle Kush x Animal Mints), this ZolClub internally bred variant is a Wedding Cake aka Pink Cookies (Cherry Pie x Girl Scout Cookies) and Blunicorn 5 (Blue Sherbert x Unicorn Poop) cross.
Upon combustion, it’s a smooth smoke, indicating that the plant was sufficiently flushed prior to harvest, with the terpenes’ flavour pulling through nicely, culminating in an overall toasted lavender flavour. Experientially, high levels of euphoria are exhibited, but not to an excessive degree, like those observed in strains like Queen’s Sugar. While the other Wedding Pie is genetically identified as indica-dominant (60/40) this version is a sativa-dominant (70/30) expression.
This strain offers a comprehensive cannabis experience, particularly for the seasoned user. It’s suitable for physical activities like exercising or social gatherings, and even induces a low-level entheogenic state, providing a clear-headed, alert journey and enhanced visual acuity. Zero sleepiness is induced and cognition is left intact. The “worry factor”, or anxiety often brought on by consuming psychoactive compounds, is low.
This flower doesn’t fail to impress, surpassing expectations, and so, is highly recommended for cannasseurs, especially given that the high has legs (see graph). A significant advantage of this genetic is the fact that even though it presents strong physical effects, there’s no motor co-ordination impairment.
Appetite is stimulated, but not to the degree of insatiable munchies, typical of many others. Inducing a sense of well-being, this cultivar may assist with symptoms of depression, but isn’t recommended for the canna newbie, given its potent effects, where Dirty Banana-like varieties would be a more appropriate choice.
The product is packaged in a corked glass jar, and includes a terpene shield which helps maintain a relative humidity (RH) of 58%. This moisture control mechanism plays a crucial role in preserving terpene profiles and overall potency, while mitigating the risk of mould formation.
