Sharpie

This cultivar, provisionally designated as “Sharpie” by Zol Club, is a novel hybrid, clocking in at 19.5% THC. Its olfactory profile closely resembles that of Magic Marker, characterised by a dominant aroma reminiscent of marker pens, with notes of astringent diesel and lemon. Underlying scents of earth, musk, and herbal cheese are also detectable, while the freshly cut flowers emit a pronounced sour citrus fragrance.

The lineage can be traced to Permanent Marker x Banana Cream Cake. The former is a cultivar developed by Seed Junky Genetics, descended from the Gelato, Sherbert, and Biscotti genetic lines. Banana Cream Cake, alternatively known as Banana Cake, is a sativa-dominant variety derived from Wedding Cake and Banana Cake.

Morphologically, the flowers exhibit low pollen density, a high resin content, and possess a balanced density-to-openness ratio, with a structure reminiscent of miniature conifers. The drying process results in a somewhat brittle texture. The inflorescences display a variegated coloration of light and dark green, interspersed with numerous orange pistils. The trichomes meet the eye as glistening glitter adorned on tiny Christmas trees. Upon closer inspection, and even with the naked eye, one can detect mature trichome globules, indicating that the plant was harvested at its optimal growth phase, and so, will produce the most powerful psychoactive and medicinal results possible.

Sharpie is plausibly in the range of 80% sativa and 20% indica, and exceptionally potent, presenting a pronounced psychoactive outcome upon consumption. Combustion reveals subtle flavours of creamy vanilla, nuttiness, and citrus. The beautiful experience presents itself as a spiritual gift, evoking concepts of Divine Unconditional Grace, eliciting deep feelings of gratitude and appreciation. This genetic may offer potential therapeutic benefits for individuals suffering from PTSD and related psychological trauma, though further research is needed to substantiate these claims.

The onset is characterised by intense euphoria and stimulation, peaking for approximately 30 minutes before gradually subsiding, with periodic resurgences (see graph). The extreme sativa response elicited feels akin to a full-body energy massage. Visual perception is notably enhanced, with increased color saturation and heightened musical appreciation. The entheogenic effects include a perceived dissolution of psychological barriers, increased suggestibility, and heightened sensitivity to environmental stimuli. It should be noted that these effects may be unsettling for inexperienced users or those unprepared for altered states of consciousness.

Notably, the strain is reported to induce minimal paranoia while exhibiting aphrodisiac qualities. Cognitive function remains largely intact, although short-term memory and motor coordination may be impaired. Given its potency, Sharpie isn’t recommended for canna newbies but will appeal to cannaseurs.

The product is supplied in a relatively fresh state, suggesting that additional curing by the end-user could potentially enhance its qualities. It’s packaged with a terpene shield maintaining a relative humidity (RH) of 58% within a sealed glass container. This moisture control mechanism plays a crucial role in preserving terpene profiles and overall potency while mitigating the risk of mould formation.
